- It is our wish for each of our teens to have a dedicated prayer partner. We would love to give you a specific name of a teen to pray for as they journey with us on this road. The teens we minister to are each special in their own ways, and we'd love for you to ask for the intercessions of St. Jude, our Blessed Mother, and Christ Jesus Himself on their behalf. Please contact us if you're interested in helping us pray without ceasing, as we are all called to do, for one of our teens.
- Do you enjoy cooking? Or do you feel called to serve others through the gift of food? If so, we are always looking for anyone who can help us feed our hungry teens on Wednesday and Sunday nights. Whether you can commit to bringing a pack of waters once a semester, or would love to gift us with your grandmother's award winning apple pies each Sunday, we would love your help! Please let us know if you're interested in our food ministry!
- Are you crafty? Do you sew? Throughout the year, our ministry puts on plays, skits, theater style shows and maybe even a dance number or two! Would you consider being on our service team, which is made up of volunteers who have special talents to give when needed. Creating costumes, building sets, helping create posters, signs and artwork for our performances are all examples of ways to help. Do you have a special talent that you think would help our ministry grow? Let us know!
- Many of you have heard that our Youth Room underwent a huge transformation over the summer. It is coming along so beautifully and our teens already love it! There has been much effort and thought that has gone into making it a space of comfort, tranquility and spirituality, of course mixed with a lot of fun as well! Would you consider a donation to this project? There are still many items we are hoping for to complete our space and we would be happy to give you options of what we need at any price point. Don't feel like you aren't meant to give if you can't give something large in size or cost. We need large items like an iPod, a large capacity espresso machine or some more seating options, and small items like books, movies, board games and picture frames. If you're being called to donate, any amount is more than enough.
- Our other donation option, if you would rather not worry about shopping, is a monetary gift to the ministry. Each week we try to bring the teens to Christ through mass, adoration, relevant testimony, praise and worship, small and large group sharing and just plain fellowship and fun. Each night is unique and well planned. You wouldn't believe what it takes to pull that off every week! Our Core Team is made of unpaid volunteers who give countless hours of their lives serving our youth. If you feel called to assist them by donating any amount on your heart to the cost of each Life Night and Edge Night, please let us know.
- Sponsorship is the last item we are always in need of. We try to plan and attend many events and retreats throughout the year, and would love for each and every one of our teens to have the opportunity to experience these sometimes life changing events. We have literally seen lives saved by an experience had at Covecrest summer camp, or on the March for Life in Washington DC. Unfortunately, not all of our teens are able to attend because of financial difficulties facing their families. Would you consider sponsoring a teen for one of these trips? It can be anonymous if you prefer, or under your name so the family knows who to thank, but either way the true joy and gratitude will come from your heavenly Father.
